The "To..." and "cc..." buttons allow you to manually enter email addresses (if entering more than one, separate them with commas) for the recipient or carbon copy recipient of the email. Similarly, the "Address book" buttons allow you to get email addresses from your email address book. By filling in addresses in the Mailer Editor window shown above, any emails you send will be addressed to these recipients by default. You will always have the opportunity to override these addresses when you send a message, but if you usually send images to a single person or group, it can save you time to enter the address here. The Quality setting allows you to control the compression quality of the image that you are sending. This value should be between 1 and 10. 1 means lowest quality and smallest file size while 10 means highest quality and largest image size. The default subject and message body may also be included here to save you typing time when a message is sent by filling in these values. When you drag and drop images onto an action that includes the mailer, digital photo utilities will attach your images to an email, fill in the default values that you set up and open your email editor for you, so you can compose the email just as you do all your other emails. Just press the send button and your email is on its way.
Something to note when using this utility: Any time you use a feature of your email program (sending a message or accessing the address book), you may be asked to log in or choose a user profile (if you have multiple user profiles). This allows digital photo utilities to coordinate with your email program to determine what information to show you.
