Images from most digital cameras have five date and time values associated with them. Three of the values are associated with the EXIF metadata and two are associated with the file system. EXIF Original Date - The date time when the original image data was generated. For digital cameras this date is the same as the digitized date. For scanned images, this is the date pictures in the image. EXIF Digitized Date - The date the image was stored digitally. EXIF Image Modification Date - The date and time the image was last changed. File Creation Date - The date that the file was created on the Windows file system. File Modification Date - The date the image file was last modified. The Time Adjuster utility can set or adjust the five different time values associated with your image. Each of these time values can be left unchanged, adjusted by a constant amount (i.e. moved forward by one hour), set to a constant value, or set to any of the other four times values. If any of the values are set to "Adjust Date/Time," they will be changed by the amount specified in the Adjustment area. The time may be adjusted forward or backward. To change the time by a month or year, you must enter the number of days in the month or year that you would like to advance or retard. Be sure to use 364 days for non-leap years and 365 for leap years. If any of the values are "Set to Absolute Date/Time" they will be set to the time specified in the Absolute Time area.
