Installing PhotoFramerSystem RequirementsPhotoFramer uses Microsoft's .NET Framework. Microsoft's .NET Framework must be installed on your computer for PhotoFramer to work properly. If you are installing from CD and do not have the Microsoft .NET Framework, it will be installed for you. To install PhotoFramer, you must have one of the following operating systems with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 or later installed on your computer:

Minimum hardware requirements are a Pentium 90* MHz with 32 MB**, however we strongly recommend at least a Pentium 133* with 96MB** of memory. A display size of 800x600 or greater is required. * Or the minimum CPU required to run the operating system, whichever is higher. ** Or the minimum RAM required to run the operating system, whichever is higher. PhotoFramer requires an 800x600 pixel screen with at least 256 colors. For best results you should use a video card and monitor that can display the True Color (24-bit color) setting. The .NET Framework is a relatively new component of Windows created by Microsoft as a tool for programmers to write programs like PhotoFramer. PhotoFramer requires these libraries to run, so the .NET Framework must be installed on your machine in order for PhotoFramer to operate properly. In the future you will find more and more applications that use .NET, so installing it now will mean you will be ready for these other programs as well. You can learn more about it from this web page: http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframework/productinfo/overview/default.asp and from the Microsoft .NET home page: New versions of Windows will include the .NET Framework, and so no extra downloads will be required. Aside from installing it on your computer to enable these new applications, there is very little for you to do it should not affect the operation of your computer.
