About Pixlabs

Pixlabs is dedicated to providing you with innovative software to organize, process and enjoy your digital photos.

Pixlabs was founded in 2002 by our president, Roger Meike, who was motivated by the need to manage a collection of ~20,000 digital images that he generated during the first three years of serious digital photography.  Pixlabs develops and sells software products to digital photography consumers, enthusiasts and professionals.  The company was founded in 2002, is located in Redwood City, CA and is privately held. 

Thanks to digital photography, we are in the midst of a change in the way that images are acquired, managed and viewed.  Some of these changes are minor and others are quite profound and may not be completely understood for some time.  The advantages of digital photography are numerous, but they also present some very basic differences from traditional film-based photography.  Pixlabs creates useful tools to help you to take advantage of these changes.
